Due to the large volume of guests that will be coming to Baltimore for our film festival, we recommend coming by foot, bike, or public transportation if you can.
For Baltimore City residents, we recommend taking the Charm City Circulator, a free bus that stops at Penn Station, just three blocks south of the North Avenue Tent Village headquarters. The Maryland Transit Administration’s website can help to plan a Bus/Light Rail route and also give you a total price for your trip. If you’re coming in from DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania or West Virginia, the MARC Train provides convenient transportation to Penn Station.
PATRON SHUTTLE MAP AND SCHEDULE
This year we are pleased to offer a patron shuttle that will be making stops around the festival campus at regular intervals to help patrons get around our festival campus. See below for shuttle map.
If planning to come by car, please allow extra time for parking. There will be free and metered street parking options on North Avenue, Maryland Avenue and surrounding streets. Patrons are able to park for free in the spaces designated on the map below on Maryland and North so long as you are displaying a MFF Crew Parking Pass on your dash. You can pick up your pass at the Box Office. If you do not display this pass, you may be ticketed. Most metered spaces are in effect Monday-Saturday from 8am to 6pm, but please double check the meter hours posted on the meter where you park. Please note: to prevent theft, be sure to remove all visible items from the inside of your car.
We will have paid parking lot options in the lot behind Load of Fun Theater and free parking at the RK&K lot behind the MICA Brown Center. Click here for a comprehensive guide to parking garages in downtown Baltimore. The garage across the street from The Charles Theater (located at 1714 North Charles Street) has 80 spaces and offers a flat $5 rate. The Central Parking Lot, located behind Penn Station at 21 E. Lanvale Street, has 550 spaces and offers an $8 all-day rate. Near the MICA Brown Center is the Fitzgerald Parking Garage at 80 W. Oliver Street.
Patrons who would like to reserve parking in advance may do so via Parking Panda. Festival patrons may use the code "mff" to receive a 10% discount.
